Fraud Analysis and PCI Compliance at Shopify
What is Fraud and PCI Compliance at Shopify? Everything from ensuring the safety of Shopify’s transactions to our compliance with payment card industry requirements. Fraud analysts and compliance officers work closely with all teams to ensure the safety and integrity of our payment data.
PCI Compliance (or PCI DSS) is also known as the payment card industry data security standard. It’ a set of requirements that ensures all companies that process credit card transactions follow important rules and steps to ensure customer safety. In order to make sure the Shopify platform is PCI compliant, we strongly prefer to fill fraud analyst jobs with applicants who have existing PCI certification. If you have other experience with legal compliance or as a compliance manager, we’d love to hear from you, too.

Waterloo is the most recent Shopify office and home of Shopify Plus. It is located in the heart of the startup community in Kitchener-Waterloo.
San Francisco
The San Francisco office is located on Market Street and New Montgomery, in the heart of San Francisco’s financial district. It is within walking distance of AT&T Ball Park, countless bars and restaurants, and a stone’s throw away from BART.
