Established first in 1987, Beauty Empire initially was known as "CNR BEAUTY" which was located on Cullen Blvd in Houston, Texas.
15 years later the business grew, and we changed our name to "Beauty Empire." We know have over 20 locations all over the Greater Houston and Missouri City Area.
What are the key factors that have helped your store be successful?
Marketing is key. Creating a web storefront was one of the most stressful things we've done since we started the store in 1987.
We've had to spend quite a bit on Google Adwords. Analytics were very important to see where our viewers are coming from. Knowing what people have looked up that led them to your site was crucial, and fixing up our ads to constantly A/B test and target the right customers.
What are your top recommendations for new store owners?
Believe in the product you're selling. Without a passion you'll fail or find it too tempting to give up.
Analytics and Adwords are very both key.
