We are the Populess Company and our goals is to create premium quality goods while harmoniously working with other like minded individuals to make these recreations.
We currently predominately are making Tshirts, Hats, Hoodies etc. But this fall are going to be launching a line of Hand made Leather products all made in Canada. Followed by our first Cut and Sew line of garments. Our goal is to keep as much of our dollars (If not all) in North America and ideally Canada.
We want to make timeless products of our environment of where we are from. Our Slogan is "Born Where the Prairies Meet the Mountains" And we want are products to reflect that. We are an Independent Fellowship of Dispositioned Minds.
How did you earn your first sales? Which channels are now generating the most traffic and sales for you?
My first sales was way back in High School where the idea spawned. Currently we have a number of stores across western Canada and looking to expand across Canada. We where late to get into the online side of business and would greatly love to grow our online sales through shopify.
Tell us about the back-end of your business. What tools and apps do you use to run your store? How do you handle shipping and fulfillment?
As far as Apps go we just use Social media channels like Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. We do use Sqaure/App for events we hold as well.
What are your top recommendations for new ecommerce entrepreneurs?
Shopify is a fantastic tool to help grow your business and VERY user friendly. I find most computer programs/software/stores very frustrating and deflating. The support team has been very helpful in my dealings. And I also recommend you love what you do. It will make you live longer!
